How We Roll
1 | CONSULTATION
It all starts with a simple “hello.” Tell us what you’re imagining for your space. We’ll listen, jot down your concerns and dreams, and decide whether an in-home con- sultation or Skype/Facetime home tour is the way to jumpstart our relationship.
2 | PROPOSAL
Expect to get a detailed proposal for major overhauls and smaller decorating/organizing projects within one to two weeks of your consult. After you approve our estimate and project plan, we’ll put you on the schedule (our waiting list is around four weeks) and begin planning immediately.
3 | PLANNING + IMPLEMENTATION
A few of our favorite planning tools are living idea boards (Pinterest, anyone?) and a cloud-based spreadsheet that keeps you up-to- date on your budget. We work in phases, so you don’t have to feel like every decision we make is final. For example, we can tackle a major overhaul as “phase 1,” pause while you live in the space for a week or two, and then address any issues you discover in “phase 2.” Change orders will be issued for major adjustments.
We respond within 48 hours and always keep you in the loop with project timeframes. Communication is key to a successful project (and adds to the fun!) We believe in convenient, real-time check-ins via Skype/FaceTime (or whatever way you’re most comfortable) as a way to save you time and money.
4 | REVEAL
Show and tell, before and after, the big reveal … this is why we love what we do! That amazing moment where every seam is caulked, each book is precisely placed, and all the drawers are perfectly organized – enough to make Marie Kondo proud.
Our pricing is competitive and transparent. We’re fully insured and licensed.
PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZING + DESIGN
1-hour Consultation: $200 (flat fee) +$50 for both Sarah + Nick
Hourly: $100/hr with a lead organizer/designer (3-hour minimum)
Professional assistants are available to accelerate your timeline and are given on a case by case basis.
We’re just not comfortable adhering to “industry standards” and marking up our client’s products or pledging allegiance to vendors. We often receive trade discounts on furnishings and we’ll always pass those savings to you. We source quality furnishings at the lowest price. Our purchase services are billed hourly so that you only pay for time we spend on you. This includes design, research, shopping, tracking, inspecting, and returning items. Unlimited email correspondence is always complimentary.
8 hours: $375; or $55/hr with 3-hour minimum
We’ll provide a proposal that’s tailored to your space once we have all the details of your unique project. Payment plans for renovations are: 30% due at contract signing, 30% due at start of project, 30% due at substantial completion, 10% due at final completion.
